The "Allegro strings" was established in Durban in 1994 by cellist Kolio Kolev and his wife, violinist Petya Kolev. Originally it started as Allegro string quartet, comprising two violins the viola and the cello. Now many years later we have a team of sixteen musicians, who play the violin, the electric violin, the cello, the flute, the trumpet, the saxophone and keyboard masterfully. We are proud to say that by booking "Allegro strings", you will get the best live musicians to perform at your wedding or any other function or celebration in Durban.
Our repertoire includes large variety of light classical, jazz and popular tunes, as well as music from operettas, movies and musicals.
